It all began in November 2018. My daughter asked me the usual question that many of us get around Christmas time: “What do you want for Christmas this year?” Most years I’d hesitate, unsure of what to ask for. But that year, I knew exactly what I wanted—a candle making kit. It wasn’t just the thought of creating candles that excited me. It was the idea of crafting something beautiful and unique with my own hands. I wanted to make candles that stood out, ones with bold fragrances that would fill the room and linger in the air.

I had no experience making candles, but I was determined to figure it out. Wtih a little research and a lot of determination, I set out to teach myself. When that kit arrived on Christmas morning, I couldn’t wait to dive in. There was plenty of trial and error, but I didn’t give up. I spent hours reseraching different waxes and fragrances, and trying different techniques—until one day, I made the candles that everyone loved.

From that first kit to every candle I make today, the love that goes into each hand-poured soy candle has never changed. I make them the same way I always have— by hand, with care, and from the heart.
